Right of cancellation for consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is 14 days:

  • from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods
  • in the case of a single order comprising several items that are delivered separately, from the day on which you or a third party designated by you took possession of the last item;
  • for deliveries of goods over a specified period starting from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, took possession of the first item.

You must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. by post or email). You can use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory.

If you use this online function, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email), stating the date and time of receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send notification of your decision to exercise your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of the cancellation

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery option we offer), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal.

We will use the same payment method for this refund as you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned them – whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you post the goods before the deadline expires.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling by you that was not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.
